Dear Distinguished Scientists, Dear Esteemed Professionals who have devoted themselves to the science of statistics;
With the duty and responsibility for better understanding and employing Applied Statistics Science, which is prevalently used in all science branches, the 2nd International Congress of Applied Statistics (UYİK-2021), hosted by Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University and in cooperation with International Balkan University, was held as a hybrid congress between 29 June-2 July 2021, in the memory of Prof. Dr. Orhan DÜZGÜNEŞ in his 25th death anniversary. The congress opening was held with the participation of the President of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, our honorary congress president, Prof. Dr. Mustafa ŞENTOP, and a broad academic group.
The 3. International Congress of Applied Statistics (UYİK-2022) will be held in Skopje, the authentic city of North Macedonia, hosted by the International Balkan University and in cooperation with Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, between 22-24 June 2022, in honor of our esteemed lecturer, Prof. Dr. Tahsin KESİCİ.
On this path, we set out with the slogan of “investing in young people” and “loyalty to those who serve the statistics science”; we contribute to the scientific development of young researchers through the courses prepared with great devotion by our esteemed professors. In line with this purpose, we aim to light a torch for all scientists devoted to this science, with training courses in applied statistics every month until the congress date.
With the motto of “Investing in Young People”, we would like to express our highest respect and appreciation in advance for your valuable participation, contribution, cooperation, and support to UYIK-2022, as in our previous congresses. On this occasion, we are honored to host you in Skopje on 22 June 2022.
