The 6th INTERNATIONAL ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT SUMMIT, organized by BAŞKENT UNIVERSITY will be held in Ankara, TÜRKİYE during October 17-19, 2024. The theme for ETMS 2024 is “ENGINEERING and TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT in DEFENSE INDUSTRY”.
In the domain of engineering and technology management within the defense industry the landscape is characterized by a perpetual pursuit of innovation and resilience in the face of evolving threats. Within defense, engineering and technology management play pivotal roles in the design, development, and implementation of advanced weaponry systems, surveillance technologies, and strategic infrastructure. The synergy between engineering and technology management is essential for orchestrating cohesive strategies that not only anticipate emerging challenges but also leverage cutting-edge solutions to safeguard national security interests. As adversaries continually adapt their tactics, the role of engineering and technology management remains indispensable in maintaining a strategic advantage and fostering resilience in an ever-changing threat landscape.
At the engineering and technology management summit, where defense industry issues are discussed, we will discuss the opportunities and challenges of the current period. Our discussions will cover societal and environmental perspectives on topics such as defense, security and technology, and highlight the dynamic evolution of engineering and information management in these sectors. We will also explore the possible impacts of the defense industry and technology management on business and life, and discuss how this may shape future practices and strategies.
We invite academics, researchers, students, and professionals who are interested in presenting research and share experience, knowledge, and ideas in the field of Engineering and Technology Management to participate in ETMS 2024. Virtual participation will be available on 19th of October (the last day of the summit).
