Thanks to the invitation of Turkish fruit juice association (MEYED), it is possible for the International Federation of Fruit Juice Producers (IFU) to hold the 16th IFU congress from 2nd to 5th May 2010 in Istanbul, Türkiye.
One of the many landmarks of Istanbul - the Bosphorous bridge - which connects Europe to Asia will also have an influence on the congress. The IFU congress "Bridging juice with science, health and technology" shows that not only continents but also activities can be bridged.. We want to symbolize with the logo of the Bosphorous bridge the bridging of the IFU with science, trade and health. In order to facilitate your visit as participant, the organisers, MEYED, IFU and SGF "Sure-Global-Fair" decided that the congress also will be in combination with some SGF events . Of course visits of companies will also be offered, which shows that the juice industry in Türkiye, characterised by its modernism, plays an important role in the global industry. The Turkish fruit juice industry is from a global point of view one of the growing industries in this sector. It has at its disposal a big offer of different fruits which are processed to premium quality products. Furthermore the Turkish industry has at present a central position in the production of pomegranate.
You shouldn't miss the opportunity to enjoy the lectures presented by highly qualified experts at the IFU congress and SGF Forum, to meet other participants , to establish contacts with Turkish industry and of course to discover touristic places and prestigious historical monuments of the vibrant city of Istanbul.
