Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It is a great pleasure to invite you to the 2007 European Cystic Fibrosis Conference that will take place at the Maritim Pine Beach Resort in Belek, Turkey.
The ECFS conferences are based on a tradition of excellence and bring together the best of European and International experts in Cystic Fibrosis. Your active participation will contribute to a productive conference which will include a challenging and exciting programme of plenary sessions, symposia and workshops.
Turkey is a country where eastern and western civilizations meet in perfect harmony. It is like an open air museum of various important civilizations that have flourished in this land since 9,000 B.C. It would be a great mistake, however, to consider Turkey as purely an historical place. Modern Turkey is a cultural and artistic melting pot of all its rich past. Here you will experience an incredible diversity of environment, history, culture, art, ideas and beliefs, and you are encouraged to explore a country that is built on a long and unique history but at the same time is a member of the modern world. Explore the country that represents a cultural mixture, a synthesis of east and west, and geographically bridges Europe and Asia.
