Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the annual Congress of ESSOP, which will be held on October 13 to 16, 2010 in Kuşadası, Turkey. Social pediatricians evaluate the health of children in a full social and environmental context and deal mainly with well being of children and prevention of the diseases. The main topic of the congress is well-child health care which may also attract the interest of many primary care providers. We believe that the congress will provide an opportunity to bring together international scientists and physicians to share their knowledge and experiences about preventive child care practices.

Kuşadası, situated on the west coast of Turkey, was chosen as the congress venue because of its many advantageous aspects. The city offers an enormous potential of tourism with outstanding natural beauty, rich historical remains of past civilizations and 300 days a year of blue sky, sunbathing at the sandy beaches. It is only 90 km away from Izmir which is the third largest city of Turkey.

We sincerely hope and look forward to see you in Kuşadası in October, 2010.
