Dear Colleagues and Energy Professionals,
We have the pleasure of inviting you to the Second International Congress on Energy Security in Eastern Europe Region, which is supported by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey and will take place in November 6-8, 2014, in Izmir, Turkey. The Congress aims to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas and to present new research results on theory and practice of issues related to energy security in and around Eastern Europe Region including Balkans, Aegean Sea, Black Sea Region, and Eastern Mediterranean. The themes of the Congress include but not limited to international aspects of energy law, energy economics, energy markets and their reforms.
All extended abstracts, which will be presented at the congress, will be published in the Extended Abstract Summary Booklet. We are pleased to announce that “Sosyoekonomi Journal” (indexed in ECONLIT) will publish some selected papers presented at the Congress.
