On behalf of the organizing committee, I invite you to join us in Antalya, Turkey, for the 21st Annual Congress of the Surgical Infection Society-Europe (SIS-E) which will be held on May 1-3rd, 2008.
The SIS-E Annual Congress provides the latest scientific information and updates on recent trends in surgical infections. Intraabdominal infections, antimicrobial resistance, fungal prophylaxis, sepsis and host factors, glycemic control, surgical techniques and their impact on surgical infections, as well as the quality of healthcare delivery in relation to hospital infections are among the main topics that will be discussed.
The Annual Congress attracts both clinical practitioners and active researchers, who would like to enrich their professional knowledge; and is therefore a unique opportunity for networking with colleagues from Europe and the rest of the world.
