1. Uluslararası Asya ve Afrika Stereoloji Kongresi (AASC)

Dear Colleagues, On behalf of the Turkish Society for Stereology, I would like to invite you to the First International Asian and African Stereology Congress to be held in Samsun at 6-8 November 2012. Samsun is a city in northern Turkey, on the coast of the Black Sea, with a population of over 1 million. Modern design-based stereological techniques which are known to be the gold standard for morphological studies are now crucial for all investigators working in the field of quantitative morphology. In congress, we are going to discuss basic subjects of modern stereology at the light of both posters and oral presentations. We promise you very comprehensive scientific and social programs. We are very excited to meet you in the historical and mystic atmosphere and the amazing panorama of Samsun again to share and upgrade our knowledge on the science of stereology and morphometry along with the technological progress. We look forward to meeting you in AASC Samsun 2012 Congress. Yours sincerely. Prof. Süleyman KAPLAN, PhD. President of theTurkish Society for Stereology
