15th International METU ELT Convention

Dear esteemed educators, theorists, and fellow ELT professionals, We are excited to extend an invitation to you for the 15th International METU ELT Convention, which will be hosted at Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, on May 10-11, 2024. This year's gathering is especially meaningful, as the 15th International METU ELT Convention coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic, an occasion that adds extra importance to our collective endeavors in education. This year's theme, "Envisioning Future Paths," carries a profound significance for recognizing the evolving landscape of education. In an era marked by global instability, conflicts, and uncertainty, we believe that educators play a crucial role in shaping a brighter, more harmonious future. Together, we will explore the transformative power of education, and how our collective efforts can inspire positive change in a world yearning for unity. This convention will serve as a platform for professional growth, providing invaluable opportunities to exchange ideas, experiences, reflections, and practices. Here, you will have the privilege to interact with ELT professionals, theorists, trainers, practicing teachers, materials developers, and publishers, creating a diverse array of ideas and innovations. Let us pave the way for a future where education transcends boundaries and empowers individuals to build bridges of understanding across cultures, languages, and nations. We are looking forward to seeing you!
