ECO 2011 "18. Avrupa Obezite Kongresi"

Let’s meet where the continents meet! “There, God and human, nature and art are together, they have created such a perfect place that is valuable to see” Alphonse de Lamartine Lamartine’s famous poetic line reveals his love for Istanbul, describing the embracing of two continents, with one arm reaching out to Asia and the other to Europe. Istanbul is an enchanting city where continents have always met with joy and pride. The fusion of the Byzantine era, Ottoman times and modern Turkey has created a magnificent flavour here that you all must come and taste. We believe that we have laid the foundations to quench your scientific thirst and to help you to network with colleagues from a number of fields related to the research into and treatment of obesity. The evil eye bead gives protection and brings luck to everyone. We hope to have the good fortune of seeing you in Istanbul, where we hope to 'make the continents meet!'
